Maxi-Pleat ® Series
Extended Surface Pleated Filters
Today's trend is to use a minimum of 20% air filtration. MAXI-PLEAT meets
this requirement, as well as, reduces operating cost in terms of energy consumption and
overall filter replacement costs. MAXI-PLEAT comes in two models - TP
standard capacity (10 pleats per foot on 2" deep) and HP high capacity
(15 pleats per foot on 2" deep). MAXI-PLEAT series of filters offer cleaner air, longer
service life, reduced yearly installation cost, reduced equipment maintenance, reduced
energy cost, and reduced interior decorating expenses over other less efficient panel
filters. MAXI-PLEAT series come with a blended media that obtains ASHRAE efficiencies of
25-30%. A Bio-Kontrol* filter.

Change-A-PleatTM
Extended Surface Replaceable Pleated Elements
Incorporates the features of MAXI-PLEAT filter series and more!
CHANGE-A-PLEAT system design can be used in pad holding frames. Pleats save labor time and
storage space, because they are compressed to take up little space and are easy to
transport. Units are available with protective end caps and compression tied, or bulk
packed without end caps and no ties. CHANGE-A PLEAT media is available in pre-cut sizes or
bulk rolls in 1", 2" & 4" thickness. Bulk rolls are the
answer to companies that want to fabricate their own pleated filters.

Odor Kontroller®
Activated Carbon & Zeo-Sorb Gas Phase Filters
These series of filters offer cost effective solutions to poor indoor air
quality which is associated with over 40% of today's buildings. They will replace existing
HVAC filters and require no equipment retrofit. They save in freight since they are
lighter than bulk compound filters. Costly energy is saved because pressure drops are
extremely lower than bulk filters. They serve a dual function by removing both gaseous
compounds and particulate matter from the filtered air. The gaseous control compounds are
impregnated onto a polyester filter substrate and offer highly effective removal of
gaseous contaminants as well as solid airborne contaminants. Filters are offered in the
following medias: activated carbon and zeo-lite. Filters are offered in thicknesses of 1" to 12" and
are offered in many face sizes.
Activated carbon filters are Bio-Kontrol* filters. Zeo-Sorb
ODOR KONTROLLER provides a cost effective solution for removing unpleasant fumes and odors
associated with ammonia and ammonium compounds (e.g. Urine).

Extended Surface Bag Filter
Medium and high efficiency bag filters come in a wide range of sizes that
fit all types of air filtration systems. The controlled stitched pocket design enables
high dust holding and long life. The self supporting bag filter provides superior
performance in four efficiencies: 40-45%, 60-65%, 80-85%, and 90-95% constructed from
medium and high efficiency synthetic or 90-95% glass media in a choice of face sizes,

Kontrol-FloTM
Extended Surface Filter
KONTROL-FLO is ideal for variable air volume systems, because its
performance is not affected by changing air velocity or system shut down. It is also ideal
for equipment where space is a problem. The KONTROL-FLO is offered in medium and high
efficiencies in glass and synthetic media. This rigid cell filter is encased in metal
framing in 6" and 12" depths. Peripheral headers are available for side access
units.

Extended Surface Mini-Pleated Filters
This state of the art filter allows for high efficiencies,
lower pressure drop, extended life, and can occupy less depth space than other high
efficiency filters. Our computerized manufacturing process enables us to produce 60-65%,
80-85%, 90-95%, and HEPA grade filters in 2", 4", 6", and 12" depths.
Excellent filter to retrofit existing equipment to higher efficiencies. Filters come in
many different frame types: wood, galvanized steel, aluminum, plastic and beverage
board.

Airo-FloTM
Extended Surface ASHRAE Cell Filters
Compact design with rigid construction that fits all HVAC systems. This
type filter is well suited for variable air volume systems where there is changing air
velocity, in units where there is turbulent air, high temperature or high humidity.
Available in 60-65%, 80-85% and 90-95% efficiencies. Their 6" and 12" depths
enable them to be installed where space is limited. Available with side access headers and
frame constructions of particle board or metal cell. No header, metal cell shown above.

Kontrol
SealTM
Internally Supported Panel Filters
Self-sealing design guards against air bypass, because the filter edges
act as gaskets. KONTROL SEAL filters are fast to install and are fully self-supporting.
Units are available in many thickness or ply's and media types with internal wire rod
supports. "Slip on" types are available which enable you to change out media by
slipping replacement media over existing wire support rods.

Dust Patroller®
Ducted Air Cleaner
Duct mounted media air cleaner is designed for residential and light
commercial applications. Cabinet is designed to utilize
5" thick filters. Unit also comes with a separate 1" track
which can serve as a pre-filter track or final filter track utilizing a 1"
pre-filter. DUST PATROLLER is offered in face sizes of 20"X24" or
16"X25".

1900C Washable
Expanded Aluminum Filter
The most poplar washable type filter on the market is this
expanded aluminum mesh filter. It is used as an HVAC air filter as
well as a grease filter in residential range hoods. Air Kontrol expands aluminum to build-up various layers of filter materials bonded
together to form the filter pad. These bonded layers form a baffle
effect to trap airborne contaminates. AK1900C is available in standard
and non-standard sizes, and in thickness' of 1/8", 3/8",
1/2", 1" and 2". AK1900C can also be on site
fabricated using Air Kontrol's fabrication tools and materials.

AK300C, AK400C AK150C
These
are the first filters that Air Kontrol manufactured
back in 1958. Still popular, these filters are great
washable type filters and can be on site fabricated with Air Kontrol's
fabrication tools and materials.
AK300C - Consists of criss-crossed
corrugated aluminum filter cloth layered to make a 1" and 2"
deep filters in a .032 gauge aluminum frame.
AK400C - Same make up as above except
this popular filter incorporates a layer of filter foam.
AK150C - This heavy duty filter also is
fabricated using corrugated galvanized steel filter cloth and corrugated
galvanized expanded steel. This versatile filter can be used in air,
grease or oil mist applications. It also comes with a galvanized
steel frame in 1" and 2" thickness'.

Electrostatic Washable Panel Filters
Air
Kontrol electrostatic filters come in 3 different styles.
Air Medic - Consists of patented plastic
adjustable frame, plastic support grids, filter foam and polypropylene
filter sheets. Available in standard sizes and
non-standard sizes, or 2 adjustable size sku's. One adjustable size
adjusts from 20" x 25" and sizes below, and the other (Super
Size) adjusts from 25" x 30" and sizes below.
Kwick Klean - Available in standard and
non-standard sizes. It has an aluminum frame with expanded metal
media support. The filter media is polypropylene filter sheets and a
washable polyester pad.
Pollen-Eze - Consists of plastic
adjustable frame, plastic downstream support grid, washable filter foam
and polyester filter pad (flame bonded together). Filter pad is
washable up to fives years and replacement pads are available. It is
available in 20" x 25" adjustable size only.

AK40
Permanent Pad Holding Frame & Replaceable Pad
Why throw away the frame each time when the only part of
the filter that needs to be disposed of is the filter material.
Line of frames consists of either
AK40SF (Galvanized Steel) or AK40AF (Aluminum Frame) with a expanded metal
downstream support retention. The most commonly used
filter materials are fiberglass, polyester or pleated elements.
Also, these pad holding frames can be on site fabricated with Air Kontrol
filter fabrication tools and materials. (Filter frames are not supplied with filter pads included)

Adjustable
Size Pad Holding Frame
Great for the Contractor who gets to the job site and
needs a filter but doesn't have the size needed. The Patent Pending system
with it's adjustable size frame along with Air Kontrol's trim to size
Downstream Support Grids (not shown) give the Contractor the ability to
have any size filter frame on demand. Filter media pads can be cut
to size using Air Kontrol Fiberglass or Polyester bulk service
rolls.
The frame and grids come in 2
convenient sizes - 20" x 25" and 25" x 30" in
1" thickness'. Frames can be adjusted to fit
all sizes below their actual dimensions.

Bulk Roll Filter Material
Bulk filter material is offered in
heavy-duty fiberglass and polyester rolls. Fiberglass comes in various
face widths, and 1" and 2" thickness'. Polyester likewise
comes in various face widths and also different types. Polyester is
offered in White - Dry style in 1/2" and 1" thickness'. It is
also offered in Blue -Tackified style in 1/2", 1" and 2"
thickness'.

AK1100VP Fabrication Sheets
AK1100VP activated carbon sheets are used to fabricate
residential carbon range hood filters. These filters are used in
non-ducted range hoods. The pad is made up of an outside layer of laminated
aluminum paperboard that is perforated with carbon pellets bonded to the inside of the sheet. It takes 2
cut pieces to fabricate a filter.

Expanded Metal Sheet and Rolls

which is a flat sheet of heavy duty rigid expanded galvanized steel (ideal

Corrugated Fabrication Rolls
These single ply corrugated rolls can be used to build up
layers to fabricate a filter or used in conjunction with one of the other
fabrication rolls to build up a 2" thick filter. Rolls come in two different
types of material, filter screen cloth and expanded metal. Both are
available in aluminum or galvanized steel and are corrugated to either
1/8" or 3/8" crown heights.
